“Many of our full-time MBA students are not convinced this is a good idea,” he stated. “They underestimate the challenge of what it is for people to remain in their jobs and work and study for the degree.”

Dean James Dean admitted that he had some reservations about the concept, too. “To be honest, I was initially skeptical,” he conceded. “I wondered: Can you really do an MBA online that you could be proud of? In July of 2011, UNC’s Kenan Flagler became the highest ranked business school to offer MBA degrees online in the entire U.S. The online education from Kenan Flagler Business School does not come at a low price, however.
