In addition to general education requirements, students may complete courses in website development, database administration, desktop hardware, and website programming. Students may learn how to administer server environments, troubleshoot hardware and software, and install operating systems.

Major-specific coursework may cover routing and switching, intranets and web services, and network performance tools.
